The volunteers at RDA (NSW) Goulburn Centre have an important and responsible job. They are an integral part of running the riding programs. Without them the centre would not function.
Volunteer Roles
We need people to assist in the many and varied roles listed below.
-
Horse Leaders
-
Side Walkers
-
Property Maintenance
-
Committee and Management
-
Fund Raising / Events
-
Grant Writing and Submissions
-
Horse Care and Training
-
Web Management
Horse or medical knowledge is not essential.
Two and sometimes three volunteers are needed for each rider to either lead or act as side walkers during the riding session. For this reason the program relies heavily upon many volunteers attending each fortnight within the school term.
